New year's resolutions

1. Learn to be okay with not being okay.

2. Learn to have conversations that do not consist of lambasting someone else, especially when that someone is me.

3. Understand that when something upsets me, it’s striking a nerve of truth.

4. Be radically, sincerely honest.

5. Learn to actually feel happy for other people.

6. Go into everything with the knowing that I don’t know it all.

7. Pray more.

8. Understand that letting go and moving on means slowly gesturing in the direction of which I'd like to reach.

9. Get dressed everyday, just for myself.

10. Give better goodbyes.

11. Make myself my first priority.

12. Read. A lot.

13. Reach out to people, open my heart, and watch how eagerly they jump in and do the same.

14. Exercise more.

15. Take my homework more seriously.

16. Be less bitter and more loving.

17. Cut negative people out of my life.

18. Eat healthier (if you eat like crap, you will feel like crap).

19. Get organized.

20. Get enough sleep.

21. Spend more time with my family and friends

Autumnal Outfit

Ebony and ivory

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? 

So today, I've decided that I'm going to share with you my hobby, and also my passion, which is playing the piano.

I have started taking piano classes at the age of 5. And I'm getting my diploma in the Conservatory this year.

Without my teacher, I wouldn't be where I am at this very moment, he's helped me in so many ways to get better and better, which makes him more than just a teacher, a guide, or a father, he's been pushing me to do my best at everything for so many years, he's the one who encouraged me to try again if I failed, so all the credit goes to him.

What I like the most about playing the piano, is that it helps me relax and forget all my problems when I hear its sweet melody, and it also makes me a better person inside somehow.

My love for the piano has grown bigger that I started making my own music, some pieces of melodies that I put together, but I never had the courage to make them public, not even to my family, the only person that I've shown to is, of course, my teacher, and maybe, in the near future, I'll build up my confidence to finally reveal them to everyone.

Family gathering

Greetings everybody, I hope you are all doing fine :)

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Eid al-Adha here in morocco.

As some of you may now, at the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Muslims throughout the world celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha by gathering with their families in a festive mood and traditionally slaughtering a sheep, the meat is then distributed among the family as well as the poor and needy.

I usually wear a traditional moroccan outfit, but for this time I decided to wear this cute Zara dress I bought last summer, the shoes are also from Zara. 

I also did my hair for the occasion as you can see :)

I opted for simple make up and accessories for this special occasion

I also did my nails, the polish is from the Neon collection by American Apparel, we can't really see the sparkle here because of the sunshine, sorry :s

This one is definitely my favorite picture, it's me and my adorable little sister Asmae, I love her so much!

Sorry it took me so long to post this, to be honest I had tons of schoolwork, I know that sucks..

Hello everyone! My name is Bouchera, yeah that's quite original, you can call me Bouch, or Boo, as you want!

I live in Morocco, a very sunny country in the north of Africa.

Before starting all this blogging thing, I think you guys should know a little bit about me.

I don't know what my main quality is but I think the best thing I can say about myself is that I am very friendly and I always try to bring out the best of every person.

I am very optimistic and open-minded, and I believe every single one of you is beautiful, always remember that the key to happiness is self-confidence, we'll be talking about that a lot!

Like most of the people my age, I really like fashion and I am going to talk about my favorite fashion trends in some of my blog posts to come.

I also love football, I am a HUGE supporter of FC Barcelona since I was very young, but I will come to that later ;)

To sum up, I'd just say I'm a fun to be around teenager, and I'll be sharing all my interests with you guys.
